Northern Oklahoma College announced Demaree King and Sabela Reigosa as Basketball Student Athletes of the Week for Nov. 6.
For the week, Reigosa averaged 17.7 points per game, 7.7 rebounds per game, two steals per game, shot 50% from the field, and 44.4% from the three point line.
"Sabela is playing very well on both ends," said women's coach Greg Krause. "On offense, she is effective inside and outside. Defensively, she can guard any position and has the length to get her hands on the ball."
Reigosa is a sophomore forward from Barcelona, Spain.
In three games this week, King averaged 7.7 points and 3.7 rebounds including five made 3-pointers. He also had 12 point in avictory over Allen County.
"Demaree had a great week," said men's coach Donnie Jackson. "He brought energy to the team and earned an opportunity to start in our win over Allen County. He keeps improving on the court and I hope he sees the fruits of his labor."
King is a freshman guard from Tulsa Rogers.
