Mavs' sophomore Carter Hines tossed a five-inning no-hitter and Barrett Rose drove in six runs in an 11-0 win over Ellsworth (IA) on Saturday in a double header sweep in Tonkawa.

The Mavs were 6-2 winners in Game 1.

In Game 2, Hines struck out 10 and walked three.

Rose homered and doubled for NOC while Ryan Duncan and Bo Charboneau had two hits each.  The Mavs led 11-0 after three innings.

In Game 1, Luke Livian tossed six innings of two run baseball allowing just three hits and striking out five.  Ayden Page earned his first save with a hitless seventh.

Duncan, Rose, and Matthew Minyon had two hits each, Rose and Minyon had two rbi's each.

NOC scored three runs in the first and fifth innings cruising to the 6-2 win.
