Luke Livian tossed a five hit shut out leading NOC to a doubleheader split with Pratt (KS) on Sunday at Tonkawa.

The Mavs were 4-0 winners in Game 1 and lost 9-8 in Game 2.

In Game 1, Livian (2-0) allowed just five hits and struck out 10 Beaver hitters.

The Mavs maximized four hits on offense with rbi's from Kyson Snelson and Barrett Rose.  Snelson, Rose, Lake Strickland, and Bo Charboneau had one hit each, Charboneau's was a triple.

NOC scored all four runs in the third.

In Game 2, the Mavs battled back from an 8-5 deficit in the sixth to tie the Beavers but lost in seven innings 9-8.

Kyson Snelson had a big day at the plate with three hits including a grand slam.  Lake Strickland also had three hits and three runs batted in while Barrett Rose had two doubles.

Carter Hines was the starter with bullpen help from Graeme Rios, Malik Wilson, and Billy Humphrey.

The Mavs (5-5) face Vernon (TX) at USAO Monday at 3 p.m. in Chickasha.
