NOC Tonkawa dropped two games to UA Rich Mountain on Sunday 9-3 and 18-2.

The Mavs (14-9) fell to 0-4 in conference while Rich Mountain (12-5) improved to 4-0 in league.

In Game 1, the Mavs trailed 7-0 before scoring in three straight innings to cut into the UARM lead before falling 9-3.

Bo Charboneau hit a solo home run and Lake Strickland drove in two runs.

Racer Felter took the loss for the Mavs, Ethan Louthan pitched 4.2 innings of relief.

In Game 2, Rich Mountain scored 10 runs in the first and won easily 18-2.

Ryan Duncan, Hunter Hall, Landon Ray, Geovanni Blackshaw, and Jaylin Bennett had hits for the Mavs.

David Carr, Graeme Rios, Billy Humphrey, Malik Wilson, and Dylan Hamilton worked for the Mavs on the mound.

The NOC Tonkawa Mavs will try and rebound Monday hosting Hesston (KS) in two games starting at 1 p.m.
