The NOC Mavs split a pair of games with Hesston (KS) on Monday winning Game 1 9-6 and losing the second game 4-3.
The Mavs are 15-10 on the year.
In Game 1, the Mavs rallied from 6-4 scoring five unanswered runs in a 9-6 win.
Darian Duhon and Lake Strickland had three hits each, Duhon had two doubles and a home run driving in two runs.
Barrett Rose and Bo Charboneau also homered for the Mavs.
Ayden Page earned the win from the Mavs' bullpen tossing three innings, Jacob Conner earned the save with a hitless seventh. Caden Fiveash was the Mavs' starter.
In Game 2, Hesston rallied from a 3-1 deficit scoring three runs in the seventh to win 4-3.
Rose homered and doubled and drove in three runs. Ryan Duncan added two hits and a run scored.
Brendon Carter was the starter for the Mavs allowing one run over five innings. Caden Storts worked two innings allowing three runs, one was earned.
The Mavs host #14 Western in a big series Thursday.
