ALTUS, Oklahoma --  Luke Livian and Ethan Louthan allowed just five hits as NOC Tonkawa outlasted #14 Western 6-5 Saturday in Altus.

Kysen Snelson, Geovanni Blackshaw, and Lake Strickland had two hits each providing the NOC offense.

Lake Strickland, Blackshaw, Darian Duhon, and Cash Jay each had runs batted in for the Mavs.

NOC sent nine men to the plate in the first scoring five runs.  Strickland, Duhon, and Jay had consecutive doubles to key the inning.

Livian allowed four runs in four innings to earn the win.  Louthan allowed one run over three innings striking out six to earn the save.

In Game 2, Western routed the Mavs 17-3.

Barrett Rose homered for the Mavs, Bo Charboneau had an rbi for NOC.

Carter Hines was the starter for the Mavs.

NOC (16-11) is now 1-5 in league play.  Western (17-7) improved to 4-2 in conference.

The Mavs host National Park on Saturday and Sunday in a four game conference series.
