Louthan's complete game leads to Mavs split with National Park

Ethan Louthan tossed a seven inning complete game for NOC in a 4-1 win over National Park Saturday in Tonkawa.

NOC lost the first game of the double header 9-3 in 8 innings.

The Mavs (17-14) are 2-8 in league play while National Park (17-10 is 6-4 in league action.

Louthan fanned five and allowed just two hits and one unearned run in the 4-1 win.

NOC broke open a 1-1 tie with one run in the fifth on a Barrett Rose double that scored Jaylin Bennett.

The Mavs then found some insurance in the sixth when Bennett's double scored Darian Duhon and then a Kysen Snelson double scored Bennett.

In Game 1, National Park scored six runs in the eighth inning to win Game 1 9-3.

Luke Livian was the starter with Billy Humphrey and Jacob Conner working in relief.

Geovanni Blackshaw, Garrison Brandt, and Nate Windle had two hits,  Blackshaw and Windle had runs batted in for the Mavs.
