POTEAU, Oklahoma -- The NOC Mavs ended their season Sunday at Carl Albert splitting a doubleheader with the Vikings.
NOC (28-27) won the second game 10-3 after losing the opener 5-4 in eight innings.
The Mavs finished the conference season with an 11-21 record.
In Game 2, sophomore designated hitter Geovanni Blackshaw homered, doubled, and drove in five runs in the 10-3 win.
Kyson Snelson had two hits and scored three runs while Matt Minyon added two hits. Barrett Rose added two runs batted in for the Mavs.
Brendon Carter earned the win allowing one earned run on three hits over six innings of work.
In Game 1, Carl Albert scored the winning run on a passed ball in the 8th beating the Mavs 5-4.
Jaylyn Bennett homered for the Mavs and had two runs batted. Blackshaw, Minyon, and Ryan Duncan had two hits each for NOC.
Caden Fiveash was the starter for the Mavs allowing three earned runs in 6.1 innings. Carter Hines and Caden Storts pitched in relief for the Mavs.
