Northern Oklahoma College guard Tyrel Morgan signed with Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida.

Morgan is from Atlanta, Georgia's Langston Hughes High School.

Morgan averaged 15 points per game as a freshman for the Mavs.

"I'm very happy for Tyrel on his commitment to Jacksonville University," said Mavs coach Donnie Jackson.  "Their staff did an excellent job recruiting him and made him a priority in the early signing period.  He will fit into their culture perfectly.  You won't find a harder worker on and off the court."

Morgan is the 19th NOC Maverick to commit/sign with an NCAA Division I school since 2012-13.
