ARKANSAS CITY, Oklahoma --  Meagan Bellar and Haiden Huster homered and Lynsey Ailey tossed a complete game leading the Mavs to a 5-1 win over Cowley College in Arkansas City.

The Tigers rallied to win the second game 10-7.

In Game 1, the Mavs trailed 1-0 in the fifth when Huster tied the game with a solo shot. 

Then, in the sixth the Mavs broke the game open as Cozee Clark singled home Jasmine Warriner and the Mavs led 2-1.

Meagan Bellar then delivered the big blow with a three run homer scoring Clark and Margaret Landes and the Mavs led 5-1.

That's all Ailey would need as she allowed just one run on two hits and struck out 14 Cowley hitters.

In Game 2, the Mavs jumped to a 7-3 lead but couldn't hold on losing 10-7.

Savannah Chenoweth homered for the Mavs while Bellar had three hits.  Morgan Fowble and Alexandra Griffin had two hits each.

Emma Enderud, Molly Myers, and Ailey worked in the circle for the Mavs.

NOC Tonkawa is in Branson (MO) on Friday for games against Butler (KS) and Seward (KS).
