ALTUS, Oklahoma --  The NOC Mavs opened conference play Thursday with a sweep of Western in Altus.

The Mavs (7-3) won the first game 2-0 and rallied with four runs in the seventh to win the night cap 9-6.

In Game 1, Megan Bellar and Teagan Honer homered and Lynsey Ailey tossed a one-hit shutout striking out 11.

Bellar's home run came in the fourth, Honer's in the sixth.

In Game 2, the Mavs trailed 6-5 before rallying for four in the seventh.

Jasmine Warrior, Margaret Landes, and Cozee Clark had key hits in the inning.

Landes and Karsyn Coleman had three hits each while Landes drove home three runs.  Bellar and Aubrey Meyers had two rbi's each.  Clark had two hits.

Ailey picked up the win in relief of Molly Myers.

NOC hosts Eastern Saturday at 2 p.m.
