The NOC Mavs gave #4 Seminole all they wanted and more on Thursday losing to the Trojans 6-5 and 2-0.

NOC (25-19) fell to 17-13 in conference play while Seminole (37-1) improved to 28-0 in conference play.

The Mavs are currently in fourth place in Region 2, just behind Rose State and ahead of Western with two conference games left for the Mavs.

In Game 1, the Mavs used two Savannah Chenoweth home runs and two Meagan Bellar doubles to battle the Trojans.  Cozee Clark added two singles, Morgan Fowble had a run batted in.

Emma Enderud allowed five earned runs on seven hits. 

In the second game, the Trojans won a pitcher's duel 2-0.

Lynsey Ailey allowed two runs on five hits, both runs coming in the fifth inning.

Jasmine Warriner and Margaret Landes had the only hits for the Mavs.

NOC travels to NEO on Sunday, first pitch is at 1 p.m.  The Mavs host Murray State Tuesday, May 3, at 2 p.m.

The Region 2 Tournament is May 12-15 at Piedmont, Oklahoma.
