Northern Oklahoma College Men's Wrestling opens their second season Saturday, Nov. 1 at Tonkawa High School against Barton (KS).

The match starts at noon.

Bryan Kenney is excited about the Mavs in 2025-26 in the program's second season.

"I think we are in a much better position now than we were last year," Kenney said.  "We have more talent and depth in the line-up than last year.  Last year kicked us off to a good start but I think we've made a lot of progress from last year to this year.  You can see it in the way our athletes are working and how they are performing on the mat.  We are excited about the upcoming season.

The following is the projected line-up but Kenney said that could change throughout the year.

"I think you will see a lot of changes in the line-up as we go through the year," he said.  "Our goal is to have the best lineup we can have on the mat in February.  That can be based on who is wrestling better but also who is the healthiest.  These wrestlers will have plenty of opportunities to force their way into the lineup.  We have a good group of returnees and transfers as well as a talented freshman class."

Last year, heavyweight Christian Clark reached the national tournament and is poised for a strong sophomore season.  Other returnees and transfers include Waleed Khairi (165), Sam Nam (197), Lane Gourley (197), Cowely transfer Jimmy Swenson, Baker transfer Robert Brown (141), Labette transfer Andres Flores-Carrillo, Cowley transfer Jaiden Johnson (157, NEO transfer Keaton Belsha, and Jessie Chavez (184).

The following is the Maverick lineup after the Red/Black scrimmage last week.

141:  Robert Brown, Devin Williams, Laker Ingram, Daniel Morris
