The NOC Lady Mavs wrestling team opens the 2025-26 season at the Friends (KS) Open Tournament Friday, Oct. 31.

The Lady Mavs are under the guidance of Jayden Miller.

NOC was a first year program in 2024-25 and finished 10th in the nation.  This year, Miller thinks the Lady Mavs could improve on that finish.

"I believe we are a much stronger team than last year," Miller said.  "We have a lot of wrestlers returning that gained a lot of valuable experience last season.  I think if we stay healthy, we can have an excellent season.  We have an opportunity to have a number of wrestlers in the rankings to start the season so it's all out there for us to have a good year."

Returnees include Leila Rosas, Carla West, Jordan Williams, Carlaeona Katcher, Miah Kenny, Leanna Espino, and Madison Welch.
