The NOC Lady Mavs host Butler (KS) in the season opener Saturday at 1 p.m. at Foster-Piper Fieldhouse.

The Lady Mavs, 11-18 lst year, are led by coach Greg Krause in his 45th year at the helm.

NOC Tonkawa returns some key pieces from 2024-25 including Amber Brazendale, Ella Murphy, Jasia Malolo, Caitlin Busch, Aryonia Mejia, and Kyra Criss.

Criss averaged 6.1 points and 4.3 rebounds per game as a freshman while Brazendale averaged 5.7 points and 4.3 rebounds in 2025.

Newcomers include Dani Milliner, Qaprese Smith, Laura Liberal, Josey Carney, Courtlyn Traxler, Viola Tadja, Joi Caldwell, and Ella Nanaeto.

"We've had a good pre-season," Krause said.  "We've been putting the pieces together during the fall and that will continue as we start playing games.  Our goal is develop our line-up and rotation for conference games in January.  I like the aggressiveness of this group and I like our depth a lot.  I think we have a number of players who can help this team through the season."

Krause noted Brazendale, Criss, Dani Milliner, and Viola Tadja who have stood out in fall workouts.

The Lady Mavs have home games with Cowley, Independence, Tabor JV, and Neosho before the break before starting confernce games in January,

"We play a tough schedule because it helps us develop as a team when we hit conference games in January," he said.
